"He who is born in imagination discovers the latent forces of Nature. . . . Besides the stars that are established, there is yet another -- Imagination -- that begets a new star and a new heaven."

Paracelsus, 1540

Thank you for visiting my website. I am a mid-career MD scientist, with a career of Allergy and Immunology in Venezuela. I am currently in the process of becoming a certified Allergist and Immunologist in the USA. I had the opportunity to join the Allergy and Immunology Clinical Fellowship of the University of California in San Diego (UCSD) for this purpose.

I am interested in continuing an academic career in USA, and further contribute to the research in children diseases. I am interested in the Brain-Immune bidirectional communication and its implications in Health and Disease, particularly in the realm of Allergic and Immunological diseases, including Asthma and Hereditary Angioedema. I am very privileged to be part of the US HAEA Angioedema Center at UCSD in San Diego, where I will be able to care for patient and develop novel cutting edge research in the field of Angioedema under the mentorship of premier physician-scientists at UCSD.

I want to contribute to the development of novel treatments geared toward modulating the host neuro-immune response promoting recovery and cure in these diseases.

                Best regards,
